My heart is with all the other parents who are waiting for their adoption day.
Even more, my heart is aching for all the other children out there who are still waiting...
The numbers are staggering. Every 18 seconds a child becomes an orphan!
We can make a difference!
Please take the next 18 seconds and say a prayer for the 143 MILLION children who are waiting. Then take a moment to visit one of these links. Choose a specific child and pray for them. Intercede on their behalf.
Support ministries and organizations that are working in the fields of the fatherless. Ask God to show you how He can best use you! Perhaps you feel God is calling you to adopt. Maybe He is calling you to volunteer. Maybe to support financially or through prayer. He is calling. It is up to us to listen, trust and obey.
James 1:27 says "Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you" NLT
